  • Why should I join?

If you are interested in sustainability, design methodologies or both, then this is your opportunity to learn and share.

The great thing about the jam is, that there are no boundaries. Design enthusiasts will be able to apply their methods and tools in a process to make the world a better place. Sustainability experts will be able to share their knowledge and be inspired by new ways of working. Students of all professions will work in an inspiring environment and learn more about both topics.

What is the outcome of the sustainability jam?

The main idea behind the jam is to exchange knowledge, experience a user-centered design process and to have a great time. The jam does not focus on creating realizable projects that are implemented right after the event. Although a few startups have been founded out of projects of past jams, this is not the focus.

How much does a ticket for the jam cost?

The jam is a non-profit activity. We ask everyone to contribute what they can in order to make the event a success. With the money for the tickets we cover the costs for drinks and food during the event. As the event is non-profit and we try to keep the costs low, we are always happy if the jammers also bring some food, especially for breakfast. So if you have your granny’s self-made strawberry jam or a bunch of apples, just bring them with you.

  • Better Together.

We run all design jams on a volunteer basis. So we are always on the look for companies and organisations that can help us out.
